  From a personal point of view. I am a 27 year old engineer with a team of seven men working for me. Five of those men are approaching retirement age within the next 3 years.
  Also as an engineer working in industry it is getting increasingly difficult to find specialists due to this skills gap which is why we need young talent!
  
  Being an engineer is a fantastic job that can give you so much back. It is rewarding on so many levels and the pay can be pretty good too!
