Question: If you first wanted to be an astronaut and then you got into engineering, did you ever think about becoming an astronomical engineer?

  Good question! Yes I did think about becoming a space engineer so that I could work on spacecraft like rockets and satellites. But by then I had already started learning about aeroplanes in my university course and found them to be just as interesting! The good thing is, the skills that I’ve learned so far can be easily modified for space engineering if I ever wanted to switch into that area.
