      Good question. I feel like I learn a lot from my colleagues, but I guess the same is true in reverse. Training is part of the work I do for the BRE. The last training course I ran was on energy storage and solar – providing solar installers with the skills to correctly design a battery system. I also have an apprentice who helps me out and I am always providing her with the benefit of my experience 🙂

      A few times! I help tutor other students at Oxford University with their engineering coursework (mainly thermodynamics and heat transfer). I often try to connect what they’re learning with the research I do so that they can see the real-world application of all the maths they’re doing 🙂
